Emily has suffered from terrible insomnia from an early age. Unable to find resolution in modern science, she turns to holistic solutions. Discovering a store of rare ancient medicines, Emily puts her trust in the shopkeeper, who sells her a unknown herbal tea that when taken before bed induces restful sleep and peaceful dreams.
But, the remedy came with a caveat. Those who take into the dream realm any negative energy will feed the beast inside and invert the dream.

Desperate, Emily gladly buys the herbal tea and has her first drink that night. Filled with anxiety, uncertainty, and frustration from months of insomnia, Emily finally falls into a deep sleep. Her dreams are anything but restful as she experiences visions of violence and destruction.

Meanwhile, in her bed, something else is awakening, something primal . . .
