Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Beyond News and the future of Lunar Diaries

Hey All,

So I've updated Beyond Art Tutorials site. It's now properly hosted (as opposed to using Weebly), and new articles are being added right now. I'm also adding a newsletter feature so everyone can be informed of updates and lessons as they become available. Also I have a new Twitter devoted to the site (@BeyondArtTutor). I also have a Lunar Diaries twitter as well (@LunarDiaries).

Also, check out the contest on Focal Press. You can still participate up until June 30th! I haven't done a piece myself, but my favorite so far is this one - [link]

So now about Lunar Diaries web comic. I do want to start it again and start it fresh. That means I would be doing a whole new story from the beginning, reintroducing Nightwolf and all the supporting characters. But there is a big issue, I need time to work on this. I want Lunar Diaries to be my main focus and be able to bring great graphic storytelling to all you guys and the web at large every week without distractions. That means, literally, Lunar Diaries would have to become my full time job.

With Beyond Art Tutorials, that is a business I'm building to the goal of being sustainable and growing it when it's profitable. But Lunar Diaries is a work of passion, work that I am sharing on the web at no cost to anyone but myself, and that requires TIME. So I need support of all of you that have asked me to start working on it again. I need you guys to step up with more than just comments and questions. I need your support. So I need to know if I Kickstarter rebooting Lunar Diaries and giving it the full attention it deserves, if you guys will have my back. If you do, I will start a proposal and I'll need you to spread the word as much as possible and contribute if you can. I've already planned a proposal and a list of great rewards.

But I need to know if you are onboard with this. I need you guys now more than ever. If you'd like to see me make Lunar Diaries become a great source of web comic entertainment, then I need to know you will support it.
